Gregory A. Norris, PhD

Gregory A. Norris
provides technical and strategic support to the Social Hotspots Database as NewEarth B CEO.

Greg is a global leader in the field of Life Cycle Assessment and a leading force behind the Net Positive movement. He taught LCA to the Dalai Lama and was recognized by TIME magazine as changing the world. He is chief scientist at the International Living Future Institute, teaches at Harvard and is Co-Director of the Sustainability and Health Initiative for NetPositive Enterprise (SHINE) at MIT. With his extensive experience in fundraising and knowledge of the Sustainability field, he is NewEarth B’s CEO. He brings expertise in economic modeling to the SHDB project, as well as nearly 20 years of experience in empowering companies to apply life cycle methods and sustainability assessment. Greg founded an LCA consultancy 20 years ago, and founded the not-for-profit New Earth 14 years ago. Greg holds a PhD in Natural Resources from University of New Hampshire.
